Today, I’m going to share a perfect fresh Shrimp salad for Shrimp lovers. It’s a delicious salad with a light texture and fresh taste. This fresh Shrimp salad is healthy as well as low calories. Shrimps and fish (salmon) are highly recommended ingredient in any healthy diet, especially for people who have no history of lipid problems. The people who eat Shrimps, the levels of triglycerides in their blood is reduced, which is another positive aspect of shrimp nutrition. Shrimp is rich in various vitamins, especially B3, B12, and vitamin D, as well as having noteworthy levels of omega 3 fatty acids, also contains significant levels of copper, zinc, magnesium, iron as well as phosphorus, however also good for heart patients. Ingredients for fresh Shrimp salad
½ kg of clean shrimp, peeled and cooked
½ small onion
2 stalks celery
2 tangerines
2 tomatoes
2 ripe avocados
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons hot sauce
4 lemons
A bunch of fresh cilantro
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 bell pepper (orange, red, or yellow)
Some leaves of lettuce
Crackers or toast
Method of fresh Shrimp salad
Chop the celery and onion. Use a large bowl to mix the shrimp with onion and celery. Put it to the fridge for at least an hour, but not exceeding 4 hours. Shortly before serving your salad, peel tangerines, remove seeds, and separate the segments. Cut each slice into three parts. Chop the tomatoes, discarding the seeds. Peel the avocados and chop into cubes. Chop the cilantro. Take out shrimp from refrigerator and add into the bowl along with tangerines, tomatoes and chopped avocados. Also add beans along with bell pepper.
Add salt and hot sauce. Squeeze lemons but avoid seeds. Gently stir the fresh Shrimp salad until everything is well combined.
You can season t his fresh Shrimp saladwith black pepper if like. Just before serving, add the chopped cilantro.
