Try it at least once and include in your meal schedule, it won’t harm you.
One of the perfect desserts for Lent and Holy Week is definitely the “rice pudding“. It is a dessert that just indifferent from other desserts, but everyone likes, loves it. I put this in our today’s menu because it is more creamy and sweet when we combine it with condensed milk and cream (whipping cream), gives incredible yummy taste. It has more sugar and calories but worth a try (occasionally). I’ll tell what alternative can include the diabetics, so today’s recipe for Diabetics is so special.
Rice with condensed milk/ Rice pudding
For diabetics can be done by replacing the condensed milk and sugar with glucose sweetener, and cream (whipping cream) for more milk. I mean in place of sugar, Diabetics can include sweetener and more milk than regular quantity to replace condensed milk.
Ingredients:
1 can of condensed milk (250 gm)
1 pkt cream (75 gm)
2 liter milk
1 cup rice
Cinnamon stick
Lemon bark (little stick)
Sugar ½ cup
Cinnamon powder (for sprinkle)
How to do it?
Put the milk in a saucepan; add the cream (whipping cream), stick of cinnamon and a piece of bark Limon. Stir it well, include rice and mix properly.
Let the rice cook over low heat about 30 minutes, stir occasionally properly. After this time add the sugar and condensed milk and let cook for another 10 minutes. Check if the rice is cooked well and if so remove from heat. Remove the cinnamon bark and Lemon branch. Put rice pudding into bowls to serve as hot or if you like can put it in refrigerator for some time and can serve as chill. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon, here you go; it’s ready to eat.
